How can I get more distance on my golf drive?

I can hit it fairly Straight , but for a guy my size 5'11 and at 230'lb and muscular I can only get 200yards. What do I need to do to get like 250 or 300? I have only been playing a year and I am in my mid forties.

First off, I'm 16 years old, around 150 pounds, 5'11, good build, and hit it somewhere near 300. (sometimes 290 or 310, depending on how pure I hit it/how hard the fairways are for roll)
Honestly, I don't think height and weight plays a big role in distance.

Second, let me tell you that swinging further won't give you distance. If you do this, not only will you have a harder time getting the club to square up at impact, you will also gradually start losing distance. And in my opinion, I'd rather hit 14/14 fairways than hit one shot over 320. The reason why going too far will hurt more than help is because when the swing gets too long, you won't reach the ball at the peak AND accelerating speed. This is why you hear people like Anthony Kim (Who is one of the top 11 longest drivers on PGAtour) say that a swing short of parallel is crucial to his swing.

Third, to get more distance, you have to reduce the amount of excess movement in your swing. You also might want to improve the swing angles of your backswing and your downswing. (Not too flat or steep). And not to mention proper arm positions.
Generally, you need your swing to be more fundementally correct. And don't follow everyone's "fast hips" trend. This didn't help me, all it did was send the ball everywhere and sky high. So I had to cut back on my hip speed.

The best way to get your swing correct, is to go take a lesson at your local golf club. They don't have to be one of the best in the nation, because they all go through a class to become a PGA professional (NOT the same as PGA professional player, PGA professional is just a person who can teach/give lessons to people). You don't really have to tell them that you want to gain more distance either, because it will come once you take away the excess movement in your swing.
