How To Make Your Own Football Banner

Football banners are displayed on and around the football field during game play by diehard fans of each team or simply to promote a product from advertisers. Banners may feature the logo and name of sponsors and supporters who contribute money to athletic programs in return for an advertisement or it may also be displayed as a show of support for teams by cheerleaders and fans. If you want to show support to your team every game and after purchasing cowboys tickets; making a banner is relatively easy process requiring only a few simple and easy to find supplies.

 

Here are the steps in making a banner for your favorite football team:

  • First the materials needed:
  • White paper or plastic sheeting in a large size suitable for a display banner
  • Large tip permanent markers
  • String or zip ties
  • Puncher

 

1. After you have completed all the materials; design the logo, graphics or wording to be used on the banner. Take into consideration team mascots and logos, company graphics and wording that would specifically identify your team. The graphics and wording should take up as much of the banner as possible so as to be seen easily and attract attention.

 

 

2. Get an approval or ask some opinion about the design before making the banner. Consult with friends, families, sponsors if you wished to which you can save money.

 

3.  Lay out the wording and design of the banner using a pencil first. By using pencil, it allows for easy changes if ever some corrections are needed before the finish lay out and you can get the correct sizing and layout of graphics, logos, and wording. When you think you are satisfied with the layout of the banner, retrace the pencil outline with a dark colored permanent marker for finishing.

 

4. Fill in the graphics, logos or wording with various colored permanent markers that you desire. Permanent markers will stand up to the wear and tear of being displayed every game of your favorite football team.

 

5. Punch a hole in each corner of the banner for hanging. If using string to hang the banner, tie a 1 to 2 foot piece of string in each corner using a double knot and stretch the banner between poles or on a fence and secure using the string. Zip ties can also be used to hang the banner just simply stretch the banner and secure to poles or a fence using zip ties through the holes in the banner and around the object to which it will be attached.

 

You are now all set to use your banner in the game after buying cowboys ticket.
