I am a certified nut for basketball, and more specifically a Miami Heat fan. However, I am, at the same time, also what you would call a smart shopper who is on the bit of the stingy side. I will proudly admit that I am that person always looking for a deal in everything, Heat tickets included! We all know how costly a Heat ticket can be, especially the season enders, so when I can, I really try to save and shop savvy for some Heat Tickets. I think other people looking for a Heat ticket may gain something from the advice I am dispensing. I know they are a little unexpected and unconventional but hey, all for the sake of some Heat tickets, right?!

1. I inspect all possible sources first before committing to any purchase- It can be so tempting to get Heat tickets from ticket master as soon as they become available online, but we all know that their rates are pretty constant, and they never really offer huge discounts, not that I’ve heard about anyway. This is why before making that commitment from ticket master, I have learned to look at other ticket broker sites such as heattickets.org. The secret to these ticket brokers is that they actually get the tickets at a bulk, discounted rate, so sometimes, they can really sell Heat tickets for much lower, making it a great deal for heat fans like myself.

2. I search in the NBA ticket site and look out for people looking to do ticket exchanges or the like- If you drop by and visit the official NBA website, there will always be a ticket tab for every team’s page. Under that, one can find a tab called ticket exchange. In the ticket area will be some games listed, where users easily click on a particular game. After they do make their selection, they will be taken to a list of season ticket holders who are looking to dispose of their tickets. My favorite bit about looking for tickets on here here is that these tickets are usually sold on a discount, as owners want to get rid of them. Now, the last thing you need to do is simply pick the seats and the rate that you’re comfortable with and contact that person!

3. Always be on the lookout for promo codes- Another way to get even greater discounts for Heat tickets is to google promo codes for certain games. There are actually plenty of deals and discounts that is available for anyone to use upon checking out of the NBA site. Codes may vary, and prepare to have to deal with code different expiration dates, but trust me and keep on trying until you get the best deal for you!

Besides pleading with a scalper, those are probably the most effective tips that I can give you regarding savvy ticket shopping. If you are willing to sample them out, do so with some perseverance and fully go for it with no hesitations. Also, don’t forget to report back how the whole experience went, just so others know. I would love to know if my tips prove successful for other Heat fans out there, looking for some deals!
